Our neighbor found this creature yesterday and quickly got it to Jackson! After looking in the field guide, Jackson is pretty sure it's a newt - not 100% sure, though. It changes colors - bright orange was by far the coolest. He did let it go back to its natural habitat after inspecting it. So cool!

As soon as this page loaded Alivia yelled, "MOMMY A NEWT!!" She found one just like it last time we were at her Grandma's. Nice work, Ranger Jackson!
