First Days of School

I can't believe Jackson is a 1st-Grader this year. The first week of school went so well - he seems to be back into the swing of things already which is hard to believe since summer brought 11pm bedtimes and 10am wakes ups. He's popping out of bed @ 7am each morning, showering, eating breakfast, and then he's ready for the big commute to school!

All ready to leave on the 1st day of school!

2nd day of 1st grade.

Makes Me Giggle

Jude. He's really turning out to be a little character. Always making us laugh - hopefully he'll make you laugh a little too.

What Little Boys are Made of......

Sticks and stones? Not my boys :)

Science @ Its Best

Here is video of a science experiment Jackson has been wanting to do for a while now. Sorry about the blurriness of the video - you still get the idea!

Finally, a Post!

It's been a little busy around here lately (as evidenced by the 678 photos we've taken in 1 month) so my posts haven't been, well, existent! Here are a few photos to let you know what we've been up to over the past month:

Jeremy turned 35 - here is his awesome cake (thanks Linda):

We've been to (and survived)Lakemont Park and Chuck E Cheese's:

(Jackson went on the BIG roller coaster @ Lakemont - pretty big deal for a little guy)

(The boys @ Chuck E Cheese's - lots of tickets won!)

We've been swimming (because summer is finally here - just in time for school to start:)

(This picture was at the Cresson Pool)

(The bottom 3 photos were from a recent visit to our good friends the Foley-DeFiore's, who recently moved to a great neighborhood in State College. They live about 2 blocks from a new community pool that was just awesome - it had something for everyone. I was afraid the boys would never want to leave)

Kennywood

Monday was our Kennywood trip - I love that park. We had such a great time. We met my parents in the parking lot and then met up with my friend, Kerri and her gang. It was fun to travel in a group - everyone was so agreeable!

Jackson's highlights included the Log Jammer and the Racer (I think it used to be called the Red Racer way back in the day and so I still refer to it as that). Jude managed to squeeze in a nap (never in a million years did I think he would nap in his stroller at a park), so we got to stay longer which made everyone happy! I'm guessing Jeremy's highlight was the BMX show. My highlight was riding the Racer with Jackson and the Kangaroo with Jude! We all had a wonderful time!

Let's have a parade

Yesterday was the big firemen's parade in Loretto! Not only did we watch the parade (and video tape it), but we got there early and walked through the parking lot where all the vehicles lined up for the parade! The boys loved it (and so did I:). We're looking forward to another big parade in Ashville next week during the county convention! Lots more video and lots more photos!
