Boys!

I don't care who you are, farting is funny!!!! Sorry - it's a little dark, but the sound is what's most important! The boys are watching this on YouTube (one of favorite sites).

Valentine's Day

It came and went. Valentine's Day, that is. This is how we celebrated it: Jeremy brough Jude for a visit to my work last week - Jude decked out in his "I love Amy" tee shirt. Jackson had his party in school on Friday - lots of cutsie cards and treats from classmates. Jeremy and I snuck out for a date on Saturday afternoon for a few hours - TGIFs for lunch and a quick walk through the mall. Jackson and I went on a little date yesterday to State College - more about that in the Magic Treehouse Post. So glad to have my 3 special Valentine's to share this day with! Love you, J, J, and J!

I made the boys heart pancakes on Saturday morning!

100 Days

Today was Jackson's 100th day of school. He almost didn't make it - not feeling well, but went in by lunch time. The students all had tee-shirts with some form of "100 days" theme. Jackson took in a bag of 100 marbles and made a necklace with 100 fruit loops - but he said Mrs. Phister said he shouldn't eat the necklace because the fruit loops were, "a year and a half old."

Ice

Our neighbor, John, came down on Saturday with his four-wheeler/plow and plowed some snow off the lake. Jackson and Jude watched from the window. Jude kept saying, "John.....plow....yeldow (yellow)....John.....plow.....yeldow......" Thanks, John! Hopefully we'll get up enough nerve to actually go out and ice skate - well, maybe next week since we're having a small heat wave currently!
John, out on the lake - what a brave man!

Brothers

I just can't get enough of these 2 boys. I hope when they grow up they'll talk about good times because I know that they are creating so many wonderful memories for Jeremy and I.

Haircuts and Dancing

The boys got haircuts yesterday - they needed them really bad! Even Jackson was saying, "Mom, I can see the hair on my forehead." And poor Jude, no matter what we did with his hair, it looked so messy. So hopefully both boys feel fresh and new! It was hard to get a photo of Jude, so here he is dancing to Beyonce's "Single Ladies."

Jude has his 18 month check-up today (even though he turns 19 months today) - we'll keep ya posted!

Tools of the Trade

In OT, we talk about how a child's occupation is play and that the tools they use to be able to play include their hands. I think this photo totally captures the essence of childhood. Thanks Jerm for the great photo.
