We had a blast @ Lakemont Park this evening. Happy Birthday Kailasa ( little early)! Higlights included Jackson and Rainier riding the Toboggan (spiral shaped roller coaster) and the go carts, Jude trying cotton candy, and riding Leap the Dips.

Just some comments

No photos this time - I gotta figure out how to arrange them better.
We had such a great weekend. It's hard to believe that next weekend we'll be having Jude's birthday party. I don't know where the past year has gone but it has gone by so quickly. Both boys have grown so much. Ok, next post will have photos!

Zoo Trip

We went to the Pittsburgh Zoo yesterday with Ga-Ga, Dana, and Nate. We had such a great time. I think everyone would agree that the beavers were the coolest thing. The mom and dad beaver were trying to get the babies in the lodge so they would carry them in their mouths while they swam to the edge. The funniest thing was that the babies didn't want to be in the lodge, so they would get out and get right back into the water as soon as the mom or dad would turn around.

Drummer Boy

We got a drummer on our hands. Jeremy taught Jackson a basic drum beat 2 days ago and Jackson is loving it! He looks like a regular musician to me. Jackson says he wants to have his own band - a kid band.

Jackson just told Jeremy, "I can't believe I'm going to be a star!" He is already a star in our eyes.

Here's a photo of Jackson with his new Indiana Jones Lego set too.

On a Jude note, he is nodding "yes" and "no" appropriately and started going down steps backwards (yikes!). Oh, and he claps when Jackson is done playing the drums!

Jackson says, "I just graduated from preschool - Little Saints Preschool. Here's a pictureof me with Miss Kristen. I will never forget my preschool teachers: Miss Jean, Mrs. Bender (that's her in the background), and Miss Kristen. My best friends are Thomas and Noah and Josh and Gavin. My favorite things to do at preschool were playing with my friends and my also favorite thing was playing in the little box where the sand/rice was. I will miss preschool but I am really excited for kindergarten with Mrs. Pfister!"
Jeremy brought the Thomas table back upstairs for the Father's Day celebration. Jude quickly learned the art of standing on the chairs and then getting on top of the table (standing).

Jeremy found this tiny painted turtle in the yard last evening and Jackson thought it was the cutest thing. We looked for it tonight, but didn't see it again.

Happy Father's Day

Oh! We had such a great weekend celebrating all the wonderful Dads in our lives! We had a brunch Sunday. Thanks everyone for showing up and celebrating. The day was so nice and everyone got a chance to get out and enjoy the warm weather (on Sunday, not Saturday).
Jackson had a "sleep over" @ Grammy Linda's this weekend - Zach and Maddie were in on it too! God bless Linda (I wonder if she'll ever recover).
This week will be busy and we're headed to the Pittsburgh Zoo on Saturday with Ga-Ga, Dana, and Nate.
Promise to add more photos soon.......
